“Veere Di Wedding” gets banned in Pakistan due to vulgar content

The upcoming Bollywood film Veere Di Wedding has been banned from releasing in Pakistan by the Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC). It’s being reported that the Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer has been banned due to vulgar language and objectionable sexual dialogues in the film, which is scheduled to release worldwide on 1st June.

According to the sources all members unanimously came to a decision to ban Veere Di Wedding while the film’s distributors also withdrew their application to release it in Pakistan after witnessing its questionable content.
Veere Di Wedding, starring Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in main roles follows four friends in Delhi as they find the way through the ups and downs of preparing for a big wedding of their beloved friend in which Kareena stars as the bride to be. The last minute wedding jitters are getting the best of Kareena, while her friends carry their own emotional taciturn which folds into the messy situations. A look at the trailer foretells that film contains bold and mature theme with explicit dialogues not appropriate for all viewers.
