As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread internationally, Warner Bros. has decided to halt the production of much-anticipated flick Matrix 4.
As being reported, the shooting of the film kicks off in Berlin after the San Francisco shooting spell.
The production of the film started in February and was currently being shot in Berlin.
However, in wake of the coronavirus crisis that has also resulted in travel restrictions enforced on Europe by President Donald Trump, the production executives decided that it was the best for the safety of all the cast and crew involved to delay the shoot indefinitely.
With this latest development, it is now unknown when the shoot of the upcoming Matrix franchise flick is going to end and it might impact the 2021 release date.
Matrix 4 will see Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles, while Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Neil Patrick Harris are the new addition to the cast.
The studio has already delayed the shooting for “The Batman,” “King Richard” and “Fantastic Beasts 3” as well.
