Dune 2 to hit theaters globally on Nov 3; here is every thing we know so far

The highly anticipated sequel of ‘Dune,’ will be released globally on November 3, and here is everything we know about the film so far!

The ‘DUNE: PART TWO’ trailer will reportedly be released online within the next 2 weeks.

And what we get to know is that Dune 2 will be better and grittier than the first part. It picks up immediately after the end of the first film.

Denis Villeneuve-led Dune Part Two footage on new villain Austin Butler was showcased at Warner Bros. CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

Austin Butler is playing Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in ‘DUNE 2’ and his character is described as an “Olympic sword master crossed with a psychotic serial killer.”

The trailer of DUNE 2 revealed at the CinemaCon featured Austin Butler bald and pale, still human but monstrous looking.

Moreover, the Fremen warrior Chani, played by Zendaya, will be present more on-screen compared to the previous instalment.

Speaking at the panel with the rest of the film’s stars, the director said, “It was a privilege for me to bring Austin on board to ask him to play some kind of Olympic sword master mixed with a psychotic serial killer. And I’m very proud of what he brought to the movie.”

Denis Villeneuve called Florence Pugh’s character in Part Two “a vital piece in the chess game of this story.”

An adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 1965 sci-fi novel and directed by Denis Villeneuve, ‘Dune 2’ is currently in post-production.

As reported, DUNE 2 is an epic war movie that is 100% shot in IMAX and has all-new sets.

The first movie was shot 40% in IMAX.

Tuesday evening saw both Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya at the Warner Bros. CinemaCon in Las Vegas, for Dune 2 promotions.
