‘Fast & Furious 10’ gets a new release date!
The film had originally been scheduled for release on April 7, 2023, where it was placed after the Easter weekend success of F7 in 2015, which became the highest-grossing title in the franchise to date.
However, the Universal studios announced that the 10th chapter of the franchise will now hit the theaters on May 19, 2023.
As being reported, Fast 10 will serve as the first half of a two-part finale for the Fast and Furious franchise.
The film is set to bring back many members of the Fast & Furious family, including Vin Diesel’s Dom, Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty, Sung Kang’s Han, and others.
Dwayne Johnson has confirmed that he would not return for F 10 or 11, and would instead focus on the spinoff series, Hobbs & Shaw.
While Justin Lin will return to the director’s chair, who has previously worked on Fast 3 through 6, and F9.
The last entry, F9, released earlier this year on May 19 was the highest-grossing movie to date during the pandemic, grossing $681.5 million at the global box office.
