Hollywood mourns the death of Betty White!
The trailblazing actress and Golden Girls star Betty White, 99 passed away on Dec 31, 2021, she would have turned 100 years old on Jan. 17.
She was known for her roles in Golden Girls and the Mary Tyler Moore show among many other appearances in the film and TV career that spanned over eight decades.
Tributes are pouring in on social media from people in the entertainment industry including Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon, and Ryan Reynolds.

White was his co-star in the 2009 film The Proposal and the woman whom he jokingly referred to in media interviews as his “ex-girlfriend”.
“She managed to grow very old and somehow, not old enough,” he said, adding, “We’ll miss you, Betty.”
Mourning White’s death, Steve Martin took a stroll down memory lane to the first time he ever met the American actress.
Robert Redford is among the many stars remembering Betty White.
“She made us all laugh, including me,” Redford, 85, said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Betty lived life devoted to her craft and her love of animals. She made us all laugh, including me. I had a crush on her, too!”
During her conversation also with People, Sandra Bullock said goodbye to Betty White and allowed herself space to mourn the beloved star.
She said, “I don’t drink vodka… but I will tonight, on ice, with a slice of lemon and a hot dog on the other side, and just be okay being sad. I’ll have to buy some rose-colored glasses because Betty was that for all of us.”
Recalling her 2009 The Proposal co-star, the Bird Box actor gushed over White’s remarkable talent.
She opened up, “Timing isn’t easy in comedy, because you have to navigate other people’s timing. Betty pivots like I have never seen, making it look seamless,”
“The rest of us just remain silent and pray we’re not cut out of the scene,” she added.
Tributes have been paid to veteran actress Betty White who reportedly died at her home on New Year’s Eve.
