‘Django Unchained’ star, 55, took to Instagram recently to thank his followers for their concern and encouragement weeks after his daughter Corinne announced that he had “experienced a medical complication.”

“Appreciate all the love!!!” he wrote in his brief post. “Feeling blessed.”

However, the Oscar-winning actor did not specify what health conditions he is facing.

Jamie Foxx’s mystery medical condition has left him partially paralyzed and blind, according to reports.

Foxx suffered a “medical complication” on April 11, according to the actor’s daughter, Corinne Foxx.

Foxx received plenty of support from famous stars and fans in the comments, including Courteney Cox and John Legend, who each posted praying-hands emojis. “Yesssss!!!! Take all the time you need bro!!!!” Kenan Thompson commented while Mary J. Blige wrote, “Love you Jamie” with a string of hearts.

On the other hand, Nick Cannon has provided an update on how Jamie Foxx is dealing with a health scare while speaking with the Masked Singer US host speaking candidly on Extra TV.

Jamie’s friend Nick said: “One thing I’ve always respected about how Jamie’s moved throughout his entire career if you’ve noticed, he’s always been somebody who is extremely professional and extremely private.”

He went on: “I mean, you don’t ever really hear anything other than just the great work that he puts forth as a professional and the fact that you know, he’s handled this situation with the same manner, you only can respect that.

“I believe when he’s ready, he’s going to address the awaiting fans in the world [about his health scare] the way that only he can.”

When asked about keeping the reason behind Jamie’s hospital admission under wraps, Nick said: “I’m probably in the same boat as you in that same sense of just knowing that you know, as a friend, just being as respectful as I can, I don’t pry.”

He then added: “I don’t ask any other questions. And other than the information that’s given to me and, you know, what’s asked of me.”
