Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock Reunite for Untitled Romantic Thriller at Amazon MGM Studios
The project is described as "propulsive," though specific plot details remain under wraps.

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are reuniting to star in a new untitled romantic thriller being developed at Amazon MGM Studios.
This marks their first collaboration in nearly two decades since the romantic drama The Lake House (2006), following their iconic pairing in the 1994 action classic Speed.
The new film’s screenplay is written by Noah Oppenheim, known for the biopic Jackie and the Netflix political thriller Zero Day. The project is described as “propulsive,” though specific plot details remain under wraps.
Producer Mark Gordon, who also produced Speed, is involved in this new venture, along with Bullock’s production company Fortis Films, Reeves, Bibby Dunn from The Mark Gordon Company, and Sarah Bremner from Prologue Entertainment.
This reunion is significant as Speed was a defining film for both actors, earning over $350 million worldwide and establishing their on-screen chemistry as a memorable highlight of 1990s cinema. They later reunited in The Lake House, which showcased a different, more romantic dynamic between them.
While fans have long hoped for a Speed sequel, and both Reeves and Bullock have expressed interest in working together again, this new project is not officially a Speed sequel but rather a fresh romantic thriller that reunites the beloved duo and their longtime producer.
