3 new ‘STAR WARS’ films have been announced at the Star Wars Celebration on Friday.
As reported, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s Star Wars film will feature Daisy Ridley’s return as Rey.
It will be the first film in the franchise’s history directed by a woman and by a person of colour.
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy announced at Star Wars Celebration in London on Friday that the “Star Wars” film future just came into sharper focus: Daisy Ridley’s Rey will be the centre of the first “Star Wars” feature film since 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker.”
Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s ‘STAR WARS’ film will follow the establishment of a new Jedi Order.
As reported, the film is set 15 years after ‘THE RISE OF SKYWALKER’.
The Pakistani filmmaker Sharmeen continues to make waves. She has won two Academy Awards for documentary shorts, in 2011 for “Saving Face” and in 2015 for “A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness,”.
She most recently directed two episodes of “Ms Marvel” for Disney+.
