International Blogger “Alyne Tamir” joins “Hoga Saaf Pakistan” for a Cleaning Drive in Lahore.

Reckitt Benckiser Pakistan Limited (“RBPL”), makers of Dettol, arranged a cleaning drive in collaboration with the international blogger, Alyne Tamir, under their social vision Hoga Saaf Pakistan. Alyne is currently visiting Pakistan and joined hands with Hoga Saaf Pakistan to support RB to work towards a healthier and cleaner Pakistan.

Through “Hoga Saaf Pakistan”, RBPL has been advocating cleanliness and hygiene for all, by encouraging people to adopt and promote healthy habits, taking responsibility for the cleanliness of themselves and spaces around them. Hoga Saaf Pakistan works to support the Prime Minister’s ‘Clean Green Pakistan’ movement. This drive with Alyne was specifically organized to educate the youth to proactively take responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness of the spaces around them.

Humayun Farooq, Director Marketing Health, Reckitt Benckiser Pakistan Limited, said “Through various iconic cleanups under Hoga Saaf Pakistan, Dettol has brought cleanliness at the forefront of our priorities as citizens of this country. It’s a pleasure to have Alyne visit Pakistan and support us to inspire the youth of this country to take responsibility for our environment.

It’s really heartening to see several international tourists visiting Pakistan. In return, as Pakistanis, we should continue to act responsibly so that we can maintain a tourism-friendly, cleaner and healthier Pakistan – kyunke milkay lagayienge jaan, tau Hoga Saaf Pakistan!”

The drive with Alyne and other travel bloggers also included giving her a tour of the beautiful city of Lahore and her conducting a seminar on responsible tourism with the students of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
