Careem starts manual-booking facility in Karachi amid mobile internet services suspension

This service will be available for a limited time until mobile internet services are restored.

Careem, the ride-hailing service, has started a manual booking facility for its customers in Karachi amid the mobile internet services suspension!

Ride-hailing service in this regard has launched three helplines for its customers in Karachi.

The request should include the registered name and phone number on which the Careem account is made along with the pickup and drop off location details and can be made on the following contacts:

  • +92-301-2442-739
  • +92-320-3581-584
  • +92-326-3703-258

To avail service, Careem customers in Karachi are required to pre-book a ride 90 minutes in advance by sending a text message or a message/voice note on WhatsApp containing their formal request.

This manual booking option is aimed at catering to critical movement primarily for educational institutions, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and airport rides, according to the statement.

This service will be available for a limited time in Karachi until mobile internet services are restored.
