Delhi police arrests a fake food-blogger!
Delhi Police arrested a woman on Tuesday who is a self proclaimed Blogger but has not written a single blog nor she owns any blog -website, she has been accused of enjoying free meals over past five years.
A woman named Swati, the alleged food blogger and social media influencer works on a barter agreements where she receives complimentary food from famous restaurants, eateries and cafes in exchange for writing rave reviews about the restaurant and the food on her food blog.
However, restaurateurs have recently got to know that Swati doesn’t even own any food blog or website and she hasn’t ever posted any content, not a single blog about the food that she enjoyed for free.
The Gurgaon based food blogger Swati was arrested red handed from a restaurant when the restaurateurs trapped her for free food. Restaurateurs called the police on her arrival and her first court hearing will be on Friday. The Police who arrested her said, “In life, there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch,”
Unfortunately there are many self proclaimed ‘Bloggers’ and ‘Influencers’ involved in a similar kind of frauds. Now the local police is tracking all such fraudulent influencers .
