Dubai Launches 10-Year Golden Visa for Gaming Professionals
The visa grants a 10-year residency, renewable, allowing holders to live, work, and study in Dubai without needing a local sponsor.

Dubai has announced the introduction of a 10-year Golden Visa specifically designed for gaming professionals, marking a significant move to attract and retain talent in the rapidly expanding gaming sector.
This visa falls under the ‘culture and arts’ category, allowing eligible individuals such as game developers, designers, illustrators, producers, and educators to live, work, and contribute to Dubai’s burgeoning gaming ecosystem.
Candidates must first obtain accreditation from Dubai Culture by submitting documents including a passport copy, professional CV, portfolio of work from the last five years, cover letter, employment letter, certificates, and memberships relevant to the gaming field.
The visa grants a 10-year residency, renewable, allowing holders to live, work, and study in Dubai without needing a local sponsor.
It also provides access to Dubai’s state-of-the-art gaming infrastructure and community support.
The initiative aligns with Dubai’s ambitious plan to invest AED 3.6 billion and create 30,000 jobs in the gaming sector by 2033, aiming to establish the city as a global hub for technology, digital entertainment, and innovation.
This new visa offers long-term residency and the freedom to work without the need for a local sponsor, providing gaming professionals with stability and opportunities to thrive in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
