Hajj 2025 Costs for Pilgrims from Pakistan: A Comprehensive Overview
The final cost for long and short Hajj pilgrimage has been fixed at Rs1,075,000 and Rs1,150,000 respectively.
Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony unveiled the final cost for the long and short Hajj packages for the year 2025 on Tuesday.
The cost of Hajj 2025 from Pakistan varies significantly based on the type of package selected. The final cost for long and short Hajj pilgrimage has been fixed at Rs1,075,000 and Rs1,150,000 respectively.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the religious ministry said,“Third instalment of Hajj dues would be received from February 1-10.”
“Few seats to the government Hajj scheme are still available,” the ministry said, adding that the seats would be filled on a first-come, first-served basis by January 30.
New applications would be entertained only for the long Hajj package as booking for the short Hajj package had already been completed.
Furthermore, the booking process for private Hajj pilgrims will continue till the end of this month.
A ministry official stated that as of January 18, only 1,380 seats remained under the government’s regular Hajj scheme. Applications for these seats, accompanied by payments of Rs600,000 in the first two instalments, were being accepted.
The government began accepting applications for the remaining 4,500 seats under the regular scheme on a first-come, first-served basis through designated banks starting January 10.
Additionally, the Ministry of Religious Affairs reached out to private Hajj operators, seeking approval for Hajj packages exceeding Rs3 million

- Basic Regular Package: Estimated between PKR 1,075,000 and PKR 1,175,000. This includes essential services like accommodation and transportation.
- Long Package: Approximately 38 to 42 days, including around 8 to 10 days in Madinah.
- Short Package: Lasts about 20 to 25 days, with around 4 to 6 days in Madinah.
- Private Hajj Packages:
- Prices typically range from PKR 1,200,000 to PKR 2,150,000, depending on the level of luxury and services included.
- Basic private packages are available starting at approximately PKR 1,100,000, while more luxurious options can exceed PKR 2,150,000.
- Economy and Luxury Packages:
- Economy Hajj Package: Up to PKR 1,275,000, which includes basic amenities such as meals and transportation.
- Luxury Packages: These can go up to around PKR 1,875,000, offering premium services and accommodations.
