Love Amidst Protest: Islamabad Couple’s Unconventional Wedding Photoshoot Takes Over the Internet

When you couldn't find any other location on your big day!

Islamabad Couple’s unconventional wedding photoshoot has taken the internet by storm.

A recent wedding photoshoot in Islamabad has gained attention due to its unique backdrop amid ongoing protests by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.

Amid the ongoing blockade with containers, the couple couldn’t find anywhere nice to go for their big day photoshoot, so apparently the photographer came up with this unique idea.

The couple chose to pose in front of government containers set up as part of the protest, creating a striking contrast between their celebration and the political climate.

This photoshoot was done by an Islamabad-based photographer, who uploaded the couple’s pictures on their social media account.

Here have a look:

The choice of location is significant, as it captures a moment in time where personal milestones intersect with broader social movements. This juxtaposition highlights how couples can incorporate their surroundings into their wedding narratives, making their memories even more meaningful.

This event illustrates the evolving landscape of wedding photography in Pakistan, where traditional settings are increasingly complemented by contemporary and sometimes politically charged environments.

Here at OyeYeah, we wish the newlyweds Khola and Qasim the very best in starting a new chapter of their lives and pray for a peaceful Islamabad.

Last week, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) declared the planned protest by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party as unlawful and instructed the federal government to implement all necessary measures to uphold law and order in Islamabad. This directive is particularly crucial as the Belarusian president is set to arrive today for a three-day official visit.
