Zong 4G organizes a Blood Donation drive

Pakistan’s No.1 Data Network, Zong 4G kicked off its first blood donation initiative in cooperation with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital & Cancer Research Center (SKMCH&RC). The blood drive took place in Zong 4G’s Headquarters encouraging staff members to donate blood to save lives for people fighting cancer.

A large number of volunteers from Zong 4G, comprising staff and management employees enthusiastically participated to donate blood at temporarily set up a blood donation center. Furthermore, the experts from SKMCH&RC enlightened the volunteers about the importance of donating blood.

In line with their belief in corporate social responsibility, Zong 4G employees have been actively participating in these blood donation campaigns, a testament of their commitment towards saving the lives of those suffering from cancer or any other ailment.

“At Zong 4G, each and every employee is working dedicatedly to add value for the people around us. Through this blood donation drive, we are acting on our value to help those in need. We believe, together we will make a positive impact on society.” Said the company spokesperson.

Committed to creating a meaningful impact in the country through its wide-ranging initiatives, straddling across a broad range of social issues for creating a more inclusive Pakistan. Previously, the ‘New Hope” volunteers of Zong 4G spread joy in Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital & Cancer Research Center, Lahore, by spending time with children suffering from cancer.

The management of in Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital & Cancer Research Center appreciated the Zong 4G’s employees for playing their part in helping people fight cancer and saving lives by donating blood.

Activities like blood donation drives reinforce Zong 4G’s sustainability commitment, Reducing inequalities and giving back society, which aims to reduce the social gap by uplifting communities and helping the marginalized members of the society.
