BLACKPINK’s Jennie Announces Debut Solo Album “Ruby” Set for March 7 Release

BLACKPINK’s Jennie, a member of the globally popular K-pop group, has announced her debut solo album titled Ruby.

Just days after teasing her fans with pictures of herself inside a studio, the 29-year-old K-pop idol dropped a social media post announcing the release of her first solo album titled Ruby on March 7, 2025.

 

This highly anticipated album will feature collaborations with notable artists such as Childish GambinoDua LipaDoechiiDominic FikeFKJ, and Kali Uchis.

The album will include a total of 15 songs, with one of the tracks being her previously released single, “Mantra,” which debuted in October 2024.

The teaser video features BLACKPINK’s Jennie in a striking new look, sporting a red wig and black attire that instantly captivated her fans. In the brief clip, Jennie sings, “In the dark I grew, money cannot buy no real friends.”
