K-pop Bangtan Boys has launched a brand new remix version of the song “Make It Right” featuring American singer-songwriter Lauv from the group’s latest album Map of the Soul: Persona.
The new version of “Make It Right” was released along with a new music video from recent BTS world tour and a touching animation that sees a young girl deep in love with a young boy transforms herself into a hooded cloak that he wears as he goes out into a desert place signifying that she will never leave the boy alone on his journey through life.
The remix starts with lines from Lauv, “I was lost I was tryna find the answer / In the world around me yeah I was going crazy, all day all night / You were the only one who understood me and all that I was going through / Yeah I just gotta tell you / Oh baby yeah, I can make it better I can hold you tighter,” he sings at the top of the track replacing the original Korean lines from BTS members Jimin, V and Jungkook.
Earlier on Thursday, Lauv hinted the collaboration video on his Twitter handle with a post “Did I finally #makeitright?”
The post was retweeted by the official Twitter account of BTS with a reply “You always #makeitright”.
BTS and Lauv first befriended each other on Twitter where Lauv suggested they should make a song together.
The singer also attended the boy band’s Love Yourself: Speak Yourself concert at the Wembley Stadium in London. Lauv also tweeted a picture of him with the BTS members backstage saying “Love u BTS”.
