Migos Rapper Takeoff Shot Dead in Houston
Takeoff, was part of a member of the Grammy-nominated hip hop trio Migos, along with Quavo and Offset — was 28.
Migos Rapper Takeoff was shot dead in Houston in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The rapper, real name Kirsnik Khari Ball, was 28.
As reported, Ball was shot at a bowling alley around 2:30 am.
Migos rapper Takeoff died after a shooting outside a bowling alley in Houston, a representative confirmed.
He was with Quavo at the time of his death. Quavo was unharmed in the shooting incident.
Two other people on the premises were shot and taken to hospital, Houston Police has confirmed.
The rapper was best known for his membership in Migos along with Quavo, his uncle, and Offset, his first cousin once removed who today is married to fellow rapper Cardi B.
The Atlanta-based Migos gained prominence with their viral 2013 hit “Versace,” which Drake remixed.
While in 2016´s “Bad and Boujee” first saw them hit number one.
The news of Takeoff’s death has hit rap fans hard across the world.
