Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, a Pakistani music icon has hit 5 million followers on YouTube.
The world-famous singer has become the first Pakistani musician to achieve this milestone.
Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali has a total of 207 videos uploaded on his YouTube channel, while the recent music video Gham-e-Ashiqui has crossed 3 million views, and still counting.
The undisputed king of qawali took to social media to express his gratitude to his fans and followers for achieving this milestone.
“Thank you to all my fans for making 5 Million subscribers possible. I want to celebrate this moment with you all. Thank you, everyone, for all the love and support”, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan posted on Instagram.
Rahat has more than 50 albums to his credit.
The music maestro also has a massive contribution to Bollywood as he has sung more than 100 songs for the films. Back in the good old days when Pakistani artists were not banned to participate in Bollywood projects.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who has mesmerized us over the years with his iconic songs like Jia Dhadak Dhadak, Mai Tenu Samjhawan Ki, and O Re Piya to name a few, was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Oxford University in 2019.
