Sound Diaries, a journey of Karim Barolia and Aamish Hussain exploring beauty of Pakistan through Sound.

Sound Diaries brings its second video of the song “Ho Mian” featuring Natasha Baig with stunning audio and visual presentation of exploring pathways and connections of being one with God, the journey of self-realization and of finding God within us and showcasing exquisite landmarks and heritage sites by filming “Ho Mian” at Kalan Kot Fort, Haleji Lake and Shah Jahan Mosque in Thatta, Sindh.

Karim Barolia, music producer and co-director of video of the song “Ho Mian” came up with the concept from his real life journey. The video starts with Karim on a journey of self-exploration trying to find the connection with God, he is traveling and exploring through the beauty of Sindh where Natasha Baig is subliminally singing the song in different characters crossing his path unnoticed on the course of his journey. The visual equally compliments the grandeur feel of the song and makes connection with the viewer instantly.

Natasha Baig, giving her mystical voice to the lyrics of Ghulam Murtaza Mehdi and music production of Karim Barolia makes “Ho Mian” touch soul of the listener.

The second video of Sound Diaries wouldn’t have been possible without its production team lead by Aamish Hussain and co-directed by Zainab Nasir, executing Karim’s directorial vision on location.

Through this video, Sound Diaries pays tribute to the architectural glory and historic allure of these sites that have stood the test of time. Alongside their extraordinary appeal, each of these landmarks tells a story of years gone by. It is our responsibility to ensure we do our part in preserving the mystique of our exquisite heritage.

Sound Diaries is determined to continue its journey through exploring different regions of Pakistan as well as different property of Sound. The project has been self-funded till now and is looking for sponsorship to continue its journey for showcasing the beauty of Pakistan through its actual auditory image.
