Zoheb Hassan is Thankful to Mesha Shafi for the rendition of ‘Boom Boom’, the iconic hit song that was originally sung by Nazia Hassan in 1982.

Taking it to social media, Zoheb Hassan shared a note lauding Meesha’s tribute to his sister as well as the song’s producer Bilal Maqsood.

In his Facebook post, Zoheb also praised the Velo team and thanked them for this beautiful tribute to her sister.

Meesha responded to Zoheb Hassan’s message in an Instagram post.

“Of all the love and appreciation pouring in from all over the world, nothing can match the emotional value of this acknowledgment,”, she wrote.

“This means the absolute world to me and all those who worked on this tribute.”

The song was sung by Nazia Hassan in 1982 for the Bollywood film ‘Star’ which became very popular.

For this song, Nazia Hassan was also nominated in the category of Best Playback Female Singer for the Filmfare Award.
