10 killed after a small plane crashes in Rawalpindi

A small plane has crashed into a residential area near Bahria Town in Rawalpindi, killing at least 10 people in the wee hours of Tuesday, local media reported.

As per the sources, it has reported that a massive fire broke out after the crash that has engulfed three to four houses.

Amid the emergency, rescues teams and Pakistan Army immediately rushed to the scene and launched rescue operation.

Emergency has also been declared in the big three hospitals of the city.

According to sources, it was an Army aviation small training plane that was on a routine flight.

At least 12 people reportedly injured in the accident who were shifted to DHQ and Holy Family hospitals.

The cause of the plane crash is still uncertain.
