11 Soldiers and 40 Civilians Martyred in Indian Attack, Says ISPR

At least 11 soldiers were martyred and 78 were wounded while defending Pakistan during Indian attacks on the night of May 6-7, 2025, as confirmed by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.

These attacks were as unprovoked and reprehensible, targeting innocent civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, ISPR stated.

In addition to military casualties, 40 civilians lost their lives, including 7 women and 15 children, and 121 others were injured, among them 10 women and 27 children.

The Pakistani military responded with retaliatory strikes under the banner of Marka-e-Haq through Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.

The names of the martyred Pakistani military personnel include members of both the Army and Air Force, such as Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, and Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf, among others.

This military confrontation followed India’s Operation Sindoor, launched as a counterterrorism strike in response to the Pahalgam attack, which led to a week-long exchange of missile strikes between the two countries before a ceasefire was announced through U.S. intervention.
