11 Union Councils in District East Karachi are being sealed due to Coronavirus Outbreak in the city.
According to the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner Karachi East, the directive is being taken due to the recently confirmed reports of individuals infected with novel COVID-19.
The sealed areas are as follows:
1) UC-6 Gillani Railways
2) UC-7 Dalmia
3) UC-8 Jamali Colony
4) UC-9 Gulshan II
5) UC-10 Pehalwan Goth
6) UC-12 Gulzar-e-Hijri
7) UC-13 Safora
8) UC-14 Faisal Cantt
9) UC-2 Manzoor Colony
10) UC-9 Jacob Line
11) UC-10 Jamshed Quarters
More than 82 percent of new coronavirus cases in Sindh have been reported from Karachi, according to updates from the provincial health department.
Out of the 104 new cases, 87 have reported from Karachi, 13 from Hyderabad, three from Larkana and one from Sanghar.
