13 Soldiers Martyred in North Waziristan in a Attack by Indian-Sponsored Khawarij

14 terrorists affiliated with Fitna Al Khawarij were killed, in a swift response launched by Pakistani security forces

In a tragic incident in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali area, thirteen Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom following a cowardly terrorist attack orchestrated by Indian-sponsored Khawarij, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The attack carried out on Saturday, June 28, involved a vehicle-borne suicide bomber who targeted a military convoy, resulting in the loss of precious lives and injuries to three civilians, including two children and a woman.

ISPR condemned the attack as another desperate attempt by India to destabilise Pakistan through its proxies. In response, Pakistani security forces launched an immediate and robust operation in the area.

The ensuing exchange of fire led to the elimination of fourteen terrorists belonging to the Fitna Al Khawarij group.

The ISPR reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to eradicate all remnants of terrorism, emphasising that such sacrifices by the armed forces only strengthen Pakistan’s determination to ensure peace and security.

The operation in the region is ongoing, with security forces committed to hunting down any remaining militants.
