As many as nine marriage halls and 171 restaurants have been sealed on Sunday over violation of coronavirus SOPs by the city administration in Karachi.
Coronavirus cases in Karachi showed a sharp rise as the citizens of the metropolis continue to ignore safety measures.
According to the report, 33 out of 225 marriage halls in six districts of the city were raided, out of which four were issued a final warning in the operation, while one was fined over violation of coronavirus protocols.

Meanwhile, nine marriage halls have been sealed for violating coronavirus measures by the authorities.
Likewise, inspections were also carried out in 60 restaurants, out of which 45 were found violating SOPs, 29 restaurants were given a warning, and 12 of them were seized.
The authorities, so far sealed 171 restaurants over violation of coronavirus safety measures.
