176 policemen have tested positive for the coronavirus in the last four days in Sindh.
A spokesperson for the law-enforcement agency on Friday said that after the detection of the new cases, the total number of policemen who have been affected by the virus so far has risen to 5,422.
The spokesperson added that 23 officials have so far succumbed to the disease, while 4,846 have recovered.
630 new cases of COVID have been confirmed in Sindh on Sunday, with four deaths.
According to the statement issued by CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah, the provincial coronavirus cases tally has surged to 241,200.
While Sindh’s death toll from coronavirus has climbed to 3,892.
A total of 9,228 tests were carried out in the province in the last 24 hours, Shah said in a statement.
