2,361 fake identity cards suspended in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Ministry of Interior has also requested the Counter Terrorism Police to provide details of any cases filed against the invalidated identity cards.

2,361 fake identity cards are suspended in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

As reported, the government identified 2,361 counterfeit identity cards in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Among the fake identity cards around 595 were used for vehicle registrations.

Furthermore, detailed information regarding the registered assets associated with the fake identity cards has been requested from the provincial government.

The authorities have directed the Excise Department to provide the records of the vehicles, while the details of properties and assets are being sought from the Revenue Department.

The Ministry of Interior has requested the Counter Terrorism Police to provide details of any cases filed against the invalidated identity cards.

The data regarding weapon licenses issued based on these fake identity cards has been requested.
