24 new coronavirus cases reported in China in a single day

China has reported 24 new cases of coronavirus in a fresh wave of the global pandemic in the country, with 20 cases of the infection emerging in the country’s Xinjiang province.

As being reported by the Chinese media, nine cases of coronavirus were reported in the northeastern province of Liaoning, while the remaining five cases were imported.

Earlier a day ago, China has reported 74 new asymptomatic cases, up from 43.

On Friday, the Chinese health authority said that  83,784 cases have confirmed in the country. The death toll from coronavirus reported at 4,634.
