36 Dubai-bound passengers test positive for COVID at Karachi Airport

36 Dubai-bound passengers have tested positive for COVID at Karachi Airport on Saturday.
Authorities at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport stated that the passengers who were bound to travel to UAE from different flights underwent rapidgen tests at the airport four hours before their flights.
However, they were stopped from travelling after their tests came back positive.
The infected passengers have now been shifted to different hospitals for quarantine, according to sources in Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Pakistan on Saturday has reported 1,345 new coronavirus cases.
