6 Pakistanis dead in New Zealand terror attacks: Foreign Office
Six Pakistanis have died in the terror attacks that took place at two different mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand on Friday, confirmed Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal on Saturday.
Earlier on Saturday, 9 Pakistanis were termed as ‘missing’ by the foreign office. The list of missing persons included:

Later, in a post shared on Twitter, Dr Faisal said Sohail Shahid, Syed Jahandad Ali, Syed Areeb Ahmed, Mahboob Haroon, Naeem Rashid and his son, Talha Naeem, had been pronounced dead by the authorities.

Faisal further added that three others who were missing are still being identified. “Our Mission and family members of the missing persons, currently in Christchurch, are assisting in this process,” he further added.
Following the identification, Mr. Naeem Rashid and his son will be buried in Christchurch. Arrangemets for the burial are in place and Muslims, alongside Pakistani Association in the city are assisting in the arrangements. The New Zealand mission is also working with families of other four victims for possible transport of dead bodies to Pakistan.
On Friday a terror attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zeland, resulted in multiple deaths and several casualities. The attacker, identified as an Australian, live streamed the entire shooting on his Facebook.
