Abu Dhabi crown prince arrives in Pakistan on one-day official visit

Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday arrived in Pakistan on his first official visit to the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari, First Lady of Pakistan Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, welcomed the guest at Rawalpindi’s Nur Khan Airbase.
Sheikh Khaled is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers and senior officials.
The crown prince will engage in wide-ranging interactions with the leadership of Pakistan, to exchange views on matters of mutual interest, reinforce historical bonds and promote economic as well as investment cooperation.
“At the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will embark on his first official visit to Pakistan on Feb 27, 2025. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers and senior officials, as well as prominent business leaders,” the Foreign Office (FO) said on Wednesday.
“The visit of Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan demonstrates the commitment of two countries to elevate the cooperation, reflective of a growing partnership and robust people-to-people linkages,” FO stated.
