Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi’s largest private medical facility has run out of testing and screening capacity as the tally of Coronavirus hits 267 in Sindh.
“We are temporarily unable to take any new patients for COVID-19 screening and testing,” said a notification issued by AKUH on social media.
When contacted by a local media outlet, the hospital maintained that depending on capacity it may start taking patients from Sunday, March 22.
It has been reported that daily a hundred patients are being screened at AKU’s Community Health Center and over 20 patients are being treated at the hospital.
Alongside, Indus Hospital, Dow Medical, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center and Civil Hospital in Karachi have the facility to screen and test Coronavirus patients.
