Ahmad Jawad has stepped down as PM’s digital media focal person!
As reported, Ahmad Jawad tendered his resignation on Friday as Prime Minister’s Focal Person for Digital Media on Friday.
He cited disappointment that justice was unlikely to be served in the murder case of senior journalist Arshad Sharif.
Other than handing over his resignation letter to PM, in a series of Tweets Ahmad Jawad announced his decision to quit politics as well.

میں یہاں یہ وضاحت کر دوں میں نے اپنی ڈیوٹی کے دوران نا تو کوئ تنخواہ لی، نا کوئ گاڑی،نا کسی قسم کی کوئ اور سہولت یا رعایت لی
ارشد شریف نے ایک انسان کے طور پر ہم سب کی طرح بہت غلطیاں کی ہوں گی لیکن کسی کو اُس کی زندگی ختم کرنے کا اختیار نہیں اور جس نے بھی ایسا کیا،انشاللہ وہ اس دنیا اور آخرت میں جہنم رسید ہو گا،یہ میرا یقین ہے #ArshadSharif

Ahmad Jawad’s resignation handed over to the prime minister said: “In a country where the blood is shed unjustly, and the facts never come to the fore. In a country where the ruler is helpless whether it is Imran Khan or you. In a country where the truth means death, the lie is a key to success. In a country where the narrative of lies is the way to progress, its buyers are respected citizens. In a country where slogans like ‘respect the vote’ are limited to the acquisition of power only.”
“The people of such a country, especially the youth, will have to decide what is true and what is false. The hour of decision has come. Listen to your conscience. I invested my precious time and money in search of the truth, and I did my duty for the sake of the country. This country has been deceived many times, and I will not become part of any such deception.”
