Airport Security Force (ASF), Karachi, Rob A Man Of $7085 In Cash

What happens when your saviors become danger to you? Who will you rely on? Who will you trust, if the only person (or institution) entrusted for your care plan on damaging you.

This is a real life incident, occurred with Usman Raza Siddiqui, who returned from the USA on the 23rd of January 2019 and was at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi from 3.30am to 5.30am.

Usman Raza Siddiqui claims that his money was stolen by ASF (Airport Security Forces) and replaced with blank papers on the spot.

“From the 2nd check point, after immigration, I was taken to a different point and my hand carry (after passing through the check point) was also confiscated. During this I lost $7,085 which was kept in my hand carry, in three different envelopes containing $3085, $1700 and $2000 each.”

The man claims that ASF robbed him off his money, replacing the amount with white papers in place of $3085, $1 bills in place of $1700 and $2000 in the very same envelopes.

Usman Raza also claims that the entire video of the incident would be available on the CCTV since he wasn’t taken into a room for interrogation and was only made to be engaged on the other side while his bag with the cash was taken away.

Usman Raza has especially requested PM Imran Khan to look into the matter and issue orders for investigation. Being an overseas Pakistani and returning to such measures of security levels is rather unacceptable for Raza and he insists upon proper investigation, about which he is certain, will reveal the truth there and then.

Whether the man is lying or telling the truth needs to be investigated by the authorities so that proper action be taken regarding the matter in hand. $7,085 in cash is not a small amount and makes about PKR 988782 (approx 10 lac).
