Alkaram accused of plagiarizing design from K-Pop group BTS’s album cover
Pakistan’s famous fashion brand Alkaram is accused of plagiarizing design for its Kurta from international famous K-Pop group BTS’s Album cover.
BTS that has millions of fan following around the world, known as ARMY keeps a keen eye over everything related to their beloved music idols, were quick to identify a plagiarism issue.
BTS ARMY Pakistan, spotted an Alkaram Kurta having a design similar to K-pop band’s album cover, and took the issue to social media.
A well known clothing brand of Pakistan @alkaramstudio copied a design of BTS LOVE YOURSELF- Her album cover design. It's in an exact formation. This is really disappointed that they copied it when they actually can make their own designs.

The words reached out to the famous fashion brand and the alleged Kurta was taken off the stores and website.
In a recent development, Alkaram has responded to the ongoing controversy, as people came out criticizing the fashion brand of plagiarism.
In a social media post, Alkaram has officially responded to the people’s concerns.
The reply by Alkaram Studio says, “Thank you for pointing this out. We’ve removed the outfit in question from our online portal & are in process of withdrawing from stores. The designer responsible is no longer associated with Alkaram. Alkaram remains committed to respecting designs, authenticity & originality”.
So the scores were all settled and the BTS ARMY Pakistan in a tweet announced, “Since @alkaramstudio has removed the article. Let’s not hype it anymore. We should let bighit handle it from now”.
