All schools, universities, and other educational institutions will remain closed till July 15, Federal education minister Shafqat Mehmood said.
Addressing the nation, alongside Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said that all board exams have been cancelled.
“We will pass/fail students based on their results from the previous year”, he added.
“Students’ health and their education cannot be compromised,” he said.
“Two important decisions taken by PM Imran Khan in the NCC today. One, All educational institutions will remain closed till July 15. Two, ALL Board exams throughout the country have been cancelled. Students would be assessed on their previous performance in Board exams”, he later shared in a Tweet.
