Amrish Puri’s grandson Vardhan Puri is all set to take his grandfather’s legacy forward!
There will be hardly anyone who doesn’t know about the legendary Late Bollywood star Amrish Puri, and his iconic villain roles in film in 80’s era, who passed away in 2005. But now it’s the grandson who will be continuing his acting legacy forward. Vardhan Puri is all set to enter Bollywood film industry and is all set to make his Bollywood debut in an upcoming psychological thriller to be produced by Jayantilal Gada.

In a recent interview with an Indian Daily Vardhan Puri spoke about his grandfather who has influenced him to be an actor. To him his grandfather is his god to whom he prays, “Dadu is the God whom I pray to. I was so close to him that I would sleep between him and my grandmother. When he passed away, for me it was like losing the protective cover of an umbrella. It was then, that I decided that if I do something, it would be for my grandfather and this film is an ode to him”.

It is being reported that his Vardhan’s debut film be shot in North India and will roll from September. Further details are to be revealed soon and the hunt is still on for the leading lady and director of the film.
