Last month, amongst news of a cabinet reshuffle by the Prime Minsiter, former Finance Ministed Asad Umar turned down Imran Khan’s offer to head the energy ministry and resigned from his position from the federal cabinet.
However, following developments, Imran Khan on Friday stated that Umar will be rejoining the federal cabinet.
In a meeting with senior journalists, PM Imran Khan stated that the former finance minister will be a part of the federal cabinet again. IK also criticised opposition parties by saying that they were trying to get away with their corruption, using democracy as an excuse.
The Prime Minister also firmly stated that did not care about his premiership and would not sign another national reconciliation ordinance (NRO).
