Ashir Azeem shares his experience with NAB, jabbing at Chairman NAB scandal

Former Pakistani actor and civil servant Ashir Azeem takes a dig at the recent scandal involving Chairman NAB.

The controversy against Chairman NAB surfaced in form of sex scandal comprising of video and audio clips, has also reached international audiences and Ashir Azeem also responded to it.

The actor who now resides in Canada took to social media sharing his experience related to an official inquiry conducted against him by the National Accountability Bureau. And concluded video message showing his dismay saying,  “it is the reason why Pakistan’s fell frustrated”.

Here is what Ashir Azeem shared in his video message:

It was in 2017 when Ashir Azeem shared on social media, “I took early retirement from civil services of Pakistan (Customs) and now drive a truck in Canada”.

Ashir Azeem raised to the height of fame from 90’s era drama serial ‘Dhuaan’, but not many knew that he was also a civil servant.

In 2015, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) ordered an investigation against Ashir Azeem for “corrupt practices and misuse of authority in awarding a contract for computerization of the FBR department to a foreign company.

And after being cleared of all accusations he resigned from Pakistan Customs Services (PCS) and left for Canada. Where he resides till present and drives a truck for a living.

Though he has left Pakistan he has a YouTube channel, where he discusses his views about governance, political, and societal issues related to Pakistan

In this recent video, he also stressed that he is not a journalist, neither he represents or belongs to any political party and his only wish was to see Pakistan changing for good.
