‘Avengers: Endgame’ smashes all the previous box-office records world wide

“Avengers: Endgame” became a massive success all over the globe, setting astronomical records, just after its first three days of release.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ the final installment of a wildly ambitious 22-film arc featuring the beloved superheroes of the Marvel universe, has smashed all records to become the highest opening of all time in the domestic box office.

The film has set records in the U.S., China and a variety of foreign markets. So far Avengers: Endgame has destroyed some of the records the superhero tent pole on its first weekend at the box office.

The Marvel’s final film’s impact is so extensive that the AMC Cinemas chain has said that the “Avengers: Endgame” will show a record 58,000 times at AMC theatres this weekend, breaking the previous record held by “Avengers: Infinity War” by more than 10,000.

Film’s biggest opening day in China:
Film has set the record on April 24 for the biggest opening day and a biggest single day in Chinese film history with $107.2 million, surpassing China’s homegrown production “Monster Hunt 2.”

International record breaker film at the box-office:
This film has become the biggest single-day performer in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Korea (by a number of admissions), the U.K., Brazil, Egypt, Panama, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Trinidad, and Uruguay.

Avengers: Endgame has also registered the top opening day in Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Greece, Portugal, Slovakia, Turkey, and Ukraine.

Thursday preview record for the U.S:
In the U.S., “Avengers: Endgame” set a record for top Thursday preview gross at $60 million, beating the 2015 record of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at $57 million. The film is also setting a record by showing at 4,662 North American locations.

Record for the domestic weekend:
Disney reportedly projected on Friday afternoon that “Avengers: Endgame” would finish the domestic opening weekend at about $300 million, demolishing last year’s record set by “Avengers: Infinity War” with $257.7 million.
