Avengers: Endgame’s cast salaries revealed

Avengers: Endgame’s main cast salaries were revealed recently. The stars including Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson have received whooping amounts!

Robert Downey Jr, who has been playing Iron Man since 2008, negotiated with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige to receive backend profit on the series, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Robert Downey Jr. reportedly has earned at least $75m from last year’s Infinity War, which grossed more than $2bn at the box office.

In addition to that, he will be adding more of some handsome amount more from the Avengers: Endgame, as the film continues to smash the box office records and earning $1.2bn only in its opening weekend.

The report also reveals that for 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, the actor has earned $5m a day for what amounted to three days’ work.

The other Marvel film star, Chris Hemsworth, who was originally signed in for five films back in 2010, renegotiated his contract to play Thor in Infinity War and Endgame. Reportedly earning between $15m and $20m per film.

Chris Evans, aka Captain America, also renegotiated for the same $15m to $20m whopping deal, after his five-film contract ended.

Now coming to the Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson’s salary for Endgame itself is unknown.

However, she will reportedly earn $20m for both starring in and producing the new standalone Black Widow film, which is set for release in 2020.

While Downey Jr and Chris Evans are done with the franchise, it seems like Chris Hemsworth will continue on as Thor into Marvel Phase 4.

As a matter of fact, the four main Avengers stars could add even more money to their respective when bonuses kick in after Endgame hits $1.5 billion.
