Awn Chaudhry has resigned as an adviser to CM Punjab Usman Buzdar on Friday.
According to the news source, that Awn Chaudhry stepped down over charges of lobbying against the incumbent government.
He is accused of working against the party, sources said and added that he is an important leader of the Jahangir Tareen group.
On the other hand, sources said that the pro-Jahangir Tarin group called an emergency meeting after Awn Chaudhry resign. The sources also said that the Tarin group will show its political power in the coming days.
Awn Chaudhry was appointed as adviser to Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar back in August 2018.
