The Balochistan government has extended the lockdown by another 15 days till May 19, due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 across the province. The number of coronavirus cases in the province is 1,321.
The provincial government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani made the announcement.
In a statement shared on Twitter, he said that “#COVIDー19 rapidly spreading in Balochistan. The only medicine & solution so far has proven to be isolation, social distancing, and lockdown. Hence Balochistan Govt has decided to extend Lockdown for a further 15 days till 19th May”.
