National Assembly or Cockfight Arena? The behaviour of Members of the Parliament leaves nation shocked

Was the session of the National Assembly or cockfight arena? The behaviour of Members of the Parliament during Tuesday’s session has left the nation shocked.

The whole nation in fact the whole world saw how the members of the most respected house behaved when Leader of the Opposition and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif addressed the lower house.

And moments after Shehbaz Sharif started his address, he was greeted with loud slogans and whistles from the treasury benches.

The videos of MNAs attacking each other are now doing rounds on social media showing the house in complete mayhem.

Such behaviour leaves a question mark on the moral values we as a nation now carry. When MNAs can hurl abusive language on the floor of the house, just imagine what will be situation across the country on the streets.
