Board exams to continue as per schedule: Federal education ministry

Board exams to continue as per schedule, clarified federal education ministry on Wednesday.
The decision was taken in a meeting headed by the Acting Secretary for the Ministry of Federal Education Asif Haider.
While the provincial education secretaries attended the meeting virtually.
Furthermore, it was decided not to extend the vacations for educational institutions.
The meeting also agreed upon conducting academic activities at schools under the strict implementation of COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).
It is pertinent to mention that on Wednesday Pakistan reported more than 4000 coronavirus cases for the first time in two months.
While students yet again took to social media talking about the cancelation of board exams and keyboard warriors were seen in action.
