BOL News Bureau Chief Siddique Jan arrested in Islamabad

BOL News Bureau Chief Siddique Jan is reported to have been arrested in Islamabad on Monday evening.

As reported, the journalist was taken away by men in plain clothes outside the BOL News Office in Islamabad.

As per Bol News report, CCTV footage shows over 25-30 men came outside the office and took away Siddique Jan in a civilian car.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan in a tweet, reacting to the development, condemned the arrest of BOL News Bureau Chief Islamabad Siddique Jan.

PTI Chief Imran Khan tweeted: “Strongly condemn the arrest of Siddique Jan Bol News Bureau Chief Islamabad Anyone thought to be pro-PTI is now brazenly targeted. Imran Riaz, Jamil Faruqi, Sabir Shakir, Sami Ibrahim, Ch Ghulam Hussain, Moeed Pirzada – all victimised. Arshad Sharif was murdered. BOL & ARY owners targeted.”
