Bollywood condemns communal riots in Delhi

New Delhi is burning with communal riots after more protests against the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act have begun. The atrocities have grown so much so that the usually numb and pro-Modi Bollywood celebrities have finally started raising their voices against the riots, that doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.
On the night of 23 February 2020, a series of riots and violent incidents began in the Jaffrabad area of North East Delhi in which took the lives of 42 people and more than 200 people were injured.
Celebrities have been taking to Twitter to speak out against the brutality and ruthlessness. Here’s what the majority of people have been saying;
No protester wants riots. No rioter wants protests.

So many of my friends were willing to ignore 2002 in favour of development. So many of my friends were willing to accept anything better than the rudderless dynastic rule. The one time I wish I never would have had to say “I told you so…” #DelhiRiots #DelhiBurning 💔

Overworked and one dead too. Folks . If we could be kind enough also to offer some condolences to the bereaved. They don’t have cushy lives and are stuck in a thankless job. Constantly under pressure. A few bad apples can spoil the cart. https://t.co/zmy8TBHOcK

the level of violence is being increased in Delhi . All the Kapil Mishras are being unleashed . An atmosphere is being created to convince an average Delhiite that it is all because of the anti CAA protest and in a few days the Delhi Police will go for “ the final solution “

In this one step towards prosecuting #KanhaiyaKumar I have lost all the respect I ever had for @ArvindKejriwal and @AamAadmiParty. I regret that I ever defended or supported them.
