Boxer Amir Khan to visit Pakistan, LOC to raise voice for peace in Kashmir
Amidst rising tensions between India and Pakistan concerning Kashmir, London based Pakistani boxer, Amir Khan, has stated that he is all set to visit Pakistan, LOC, to raise his voice for peace.
“Next week I am visiting Pakistan, Line of Control(LOC) on a humanitarian visit to raise my voice for peace, as a lot of innocent people are suffering. Thank you @officialdgispr for the opportunity #UNcharter #kashmir #peace,” stated the boxer mentioning how atrocities in Kashmir had made a lot of people suffer.

Not only has India strip IOK of its special status but it has also enforced an information blockade in the valley. Pakistani celebrities and artists have been raising their voice for the cause. Recently Armeena Khan tweeted that she and her fiance had been granted a dialogue with the UN, where they intended to raise the Kashmir Issue and ask questions looking for possible solutions.
Pakistan has also demanded that the UN take immediate notice of the atrocities in Kashmir and play its part in restoring the human rights the valley has been brutally stripped off.
