#Breaking: Karachi Express Met Accident Near Rohri Railway Station, Casualties Feared
Karachi Express has met with an accident near Rohri Railway Station.
As being reported so far 3 people have died and more than 49 people are injured.
As many as 8 boogies rare reported to have derailed at the accident spot with several passengers trapped inside.
According to rescue sources, 8 bogies of the train have derailed.
The rescue operation is underway with the help of locals and rescue teams. while the rescue operation is hampered due to darkness.
According to sources, the train was going to Lahore from Karachi.
The accident took place between Rohri and Panu Aqil.
Railway sources said that the movement of trains on up and down track has been suspended while trains from Karachi to Punjab have been halted at various stations.
The reason behind the accident so far not known.
An official statement from Pakistan Railways in being awaited.
